Wireless power transfer (WPT) system based on a dynamic wireless charging (DWC) scheme, eliminates waiting time for electric vehicles (EVs), increases the range of motion, reduces size Li-ion battery, and automates process. In DWC method, an EV frequently passes charger transmitter pads at maximum speed to charge onboard battery. The must have quick smooth transient response that employs proper strategy Here, model predictive controller (MPC) is proposed deploy suitable constant current/voltage (CC/CV) protocol. designed MPC functionality demonstrated by simulation experimental results both CC/CV strategies while battery state (SOC) estimated simple stable technique in primary side. applied scheme performs properly all conditions with fast critically damped start-up, which makes it potential choice static modes. are verified implementing 90 W WPT testbed 85.5 kHz switching frequency 100 mm coils’ air gap.
